Covid-19 Update

26th April
Subject to supply, by mid-April, we plan to have offered the vaccine to priority vaccine groups 1-9, based on the Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisation advice for protecting the most vulnerable in our population. Assuming the data allows it, we expect a more significant reopening of the economy and society from 26 April. This will likely include the following easings:

  • extending outdoor socialising to permit up to 6 people from up to 3 households to gather. Conquer Gravity Outdoors can resume;
  • gyms and swimming pools can reopen for individual exercise. Private sessions resume in the Studio)

17th May
Three weeks on from the publication of the last update, and given the progress with the vaccination programme and what we have learned about its impact on reducing transmission of the virus, we are now in a position to add a new indicative date for further easing of restrictions. From 17 May we hope to introduce the following easings:

  • adult outdoor contact sport and indoor group exercises can resume. Hopefully one Mat Pilates class a week (the Monday 18:30hrs) in Person.


Current Online Classes Schedule:


Monday: Private and Duet Sessions from 9:00 till 13:00
Mat Pilates – The original at 18:30
Conquer Gravity at 19:30

Tuesday: Private and Duet Sessions only from 9:00 till 13:00 and from 17:00 till 21:00

Wednesday: Private and Duet sessions from 9:00 till 13:00
Mat Pilates – The Original at 20:00

Thursday: Private and Duet Sessions only from 9:00 till 13:00 and from 17:00 till 21:00
Mother & Baby Post-Natal Pilates at 13:30pm

Friday: Private and Duet Sessions only at flexible times.

​All sessions are 55 minutes unless stated otherwise.

Mat Pilates are offered at a reduced rate during the Outbreak: £40 for 8 online sessions instead of 4 classes.

Rates for Private and Duet sessions still remains the same.

​All online classes and sessions are offered under The Pilates Studio Edinburgh existing Terms and Conditions.

​What you’ll need for your online sessions:

  • Enough space for your mat or a thick towel.
  • Access to a bit of wall space.
  • Additional equipment: hand towel, arm weights (tin cans!), a small cushion if needed as a head pillow.
